Miklós Nyírő

He studied philosophy at The New School for Social Research, New York (MA, 1996); earned Ph.D. in philosophy at the Eötvös Lóránd University, Budapest (2004). Full professor and head of the Philosophy Department at the University of Miskolc, Hungary. Between 2012-17, research fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences - ELTE Hermeneutics Research Group. Main research interests: philosophical hermeneutics and (neo)pragmatism; competence in phenomenology and the history of 19th-20th century continental philosophy
